Alcoholism and Stress: A Framework for Future Treatment Strategies

We are proud to share highlights from the recent conference titled "Alcoholism and Stress: A Framework for Future Treatment Strategies," which took place in Volterra, Italy, from May 16-19, 2023. Dr. Michelle Doyle presented a poster on her latest study, "Longitudinal Assessment of the Effects of Cannabidiol Over the Different Stages of Addiction in Rat Models of Alcohol Use Disorder" coauthored by Angelica Martinez, Selen Dirik, Marsida Kallupi, and Giordano de Guglielmo. This research provides valuable insights into the potential therapeutic benefits of cannabidiol in managing and treating alcohol use disorder across various stages of addiction in laboratory rats.
